Jammu and Kashmir Rehbre Taleem Teachers Forum , today on 14th of October 2017 held state body Election for the posts of Chairman, State President and General Secretary at two polling stations one each at Jammu and Srinagar where in voters forming the electoral college from all the districts of the state participated and used their right to franchise for the election of these posts.
For the post of chairman two candidates were in fray that is Abdul Aziz Gazi and Parvez Iqbal Shah and Abdul Aziz Gazi defeated his rival with a high margin of votes and got elected as Chairman.
For the posts of state President two nominations were found valid and two candidates were in fray that is Vinod Sharma and Hamiet Ullah wani but Vinod Sharma defeated him with a high margin of votes and got elected as state President 3rd time.
Whereas for the post of General Secretary also there were two candidates in fray and Saleem Sagar got elected With a high margin of votes by defeating his rival Qazi Tasleem.
The elections for these posts at Jammu were held under the close and overall supervision of Najam Jafri , Rajesh Singh Jamwal , Gulzabir Ahmed Daing and Manzoor Khan all as election commissions whereas at Srinagar these elections were held under the supervision of designated election commissions : Reyaz-ul Rehman , Pir Siraj , Mohd Amin Budgami and Tuffail Masroor.
On his victory 3rd time as state President Vinod Sharma thanked all the voters who voted in his favour and said that he would come up the expectations of the RET cadre of the state by projecting the burning issues of cadre.
In addition to the voters including District presidents a large number of supporters were also present on the occasion which included Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, Sajad Malik Lekh Raj Parihar , Sukesh Khajuria , Naresh Sharma, Sham Sharma , Ravinder Singh , Anita Kiran, Subash Chander , Balwan Singh , Shahnwaz Hussain, Mahesh Kumar , Pankaj Verma, Dinesh Singh , Raj Kumar Dubey , Neha Sharma, Tahir Masood, Rishi Rana , Hari Lal Nag , Pardeep Choudhary, Yousaf Shah, Ashok Seth and others
