'DIWALI' is the most important festival which is celebrated in 'BHARAT' from time immemorial.  The festival of the lights which is triumph over darkness is celebrated by all walks of life as it symbolises the victory of good. Ranbir Singh Pura  which is well known for 'BASMATI RICE' WITH UNIQUE FRAGRANCE  is also known for best shoorvirs & martyrs which have fought with the enemies of country. Martyrs of Ranbir Singh Pura were remembered on the eve of Diwali festival. 'EK DEEP SHAHEED KE NAAM' to dispel the forces of darkness & ignorance was the motive of Diwali festival which was organised at DALJIT CHOWK, HANUMAN CHOWK dedicated to CHAIN SINGH & SUB DIVISIONAL BAZAAR R.S.Pura. Dr GAGAN BHAGAT Hon'ble M.L.A. Ranbir Singh Pura was the CHIEF GUEST on this occasion. Accompanied by the family of Shaheed Chain Singh in the presence of prominent citizens & Bazaar Associations Dr Gagan Bhagat lighted lamps to pay tributes to the martyrs of RANBIR SINGH PURA. While recalling the supreme sacrifices of the martyrs Dr Gagan Bhagat pledged to create an everlasting memorial dedicated to all the MARTYRS OF SUB DIVISION R.S.PURA which will enlighten the present generation about the valour, courage & bravery with which the jawans/shoorvirs fight which is of high order which can't be forgotten. He also assured to create the memorial of Chain Singh at the earliest which is a long pending demand of citizens of Ranbir Singh Pura. Among others who pay tributes & lighted lamps as a respect to martyrs were Om Parkash Gupta (Advani), Er Jawahar Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Jarnail Singh. Rishab Choudhary, Rajesh Kala, Anil Kapoor, Sunil Gupta, Hazuri Singh, Sahil Gupta, Tilak Raj, Brooka Singh.
