R S Pura, 22 oct : MLA R S Pura Dr. Gagan Bhagat today Paid a glowing tribute to Marty Gurnam Singh, the 26-year-old BSF jawan who sacrifice his life for the sake of country at Kathua last year in a function organize at Rathana. Gagan was present in the function to pay tribute to Saheed Gurnam Singh. Speaking on occasion , Gagan said Gurnam Singh was injured on 21 october 2016 when Pakistani snipers targeted him in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, succumbed to his injuries at night on 22 october.He was the brave son of the soil. He also assured the family members of saheed gurnam singh that he will fulfil all their demands on priority basis. On the occasion Sarpanch Ch. Kulbir Singh, Sarpanch Rashpal Singh , family members of Saheed and other prominent citizen were also paid floral tribute to martyr Gurnam Singh .
