 JJSF today held a meeting at Government Gandhi Memorial Science College Jammu during which threadbare discussions were held about the issues related to the students in particular and Dogras in General. Meeting was chaired by Advocate Pushvinder Singh, State President JJSF. Meanwhile, Pushvinder Singh announced the JJSF unit for Science College which include Kuldeep Singh Shubam, President, Prajbal Singh, Vikram Langeh, Sahil Chouhan and Abhishek, Vice-Presidents, Luv Pandey, General Secretary, Vivek, Treasurer, Lalit Sharma, Press Secretary, Akash Sharma, Organisation Secretary, Shiva Charak and Karan Kumar, Joint Secretaries and the college executive members of JJSF shall be Amandeep Singh, Vipul Khajuria, Vikramjeet Singh, Akhil Khajuria Aman Kumar, Amarjeet Singh, Rishav Malhotra, Raghav Sharma, Sahil Singh, Kush Pandey, Sahil Sharma, Uttam Singh, Shubam Sharma, Amit Kumar, Bhanu Singh, Suchet Kumar, Manjeet Singh, Saksham Gupta, Vishal Kumar, Gourav Charak, Jameel Ahmed, Sachin Singh, Sahil Kumar, Ankush Sharma, Manish Sharma, Mohit Singh and Hritik Khullar.

Nitin Sharma of GGM Science College was also nominated as Incharge and President/Head of three Colleges namely GDC Paloura, SPMR College of Commerce and GGM Science College and he was asked by State President JJSF to constitute its unit and submit it within a week’s time.

Interacting with the newly elected team of JJSF of GGM Science College and the students of the GGM Science College, Pushvinder said that student community is the backbone of every region, State or Country but the students of the Jammu Region are facing lots of hardships and their future is at stake due to the step-motherly treatment of the consecutive Governments of the state as well as centre. But the PDP-BJP led present state Government has crossed all the limits of discrimination whether it is in the selections by PSC & SSRB, whether it is in the admissions in professional courses, whether it is in selections in sports, etc. New Recruitment Policy is another draconian move of the present PDP-BJP led Government to demoralize the youth of the state throwing their future in shambles.
He lambasted the so called political leadership of Jammu for not standing with the people of Jammu region from where they were elected as MLAs but are sticking to their chairs just because of their hunger and lust for power. He said that JJSF will not spare any so called leader to play with the sentiments of the Dogras and befooling them in one pretext or the other.
He further said that JJSF alongwith DKS (Duggar Kranti Sena a Trust) has pledged to make Dodgras (Domicile of Jammu Province) legally aware and shall educate them how to raise their voice against the said discrimination vociferously. Dogras have to be legally and fundamentally aware about their basic rights in order to fight a decisive war for justice, he added.

Atul Sudan, State Vice-President, JJSF said that JJSF is the only voice of Jammu which has lead numerous agitations for the cause of Jammu region and is once again ready to lead the cause of Dogras and very soon is going to launch an agitation for putting the project of the artificial Lake in cold.

Vikram Chib, Provincial President, JJSF said that the student community has suffered a lot because of the anti-youth and anti-student policies of this PDP-BJP led Government and now JJSF has decided not to bear this anymore and pledged to fight tooth and nail against the discriminatory policies of the Government.
