Jammu October 17th: Extending Greetings on the occasion of Dhanteras and forthcoming festival of Deepawali to All Ranks of J&K Police, IGP, Jammu Zone, Jammu, Dr. S. D. Singh ,IPS today issued formal promotion order in respect of 130 ASI’s and 770 Constables promoting them to the rank of Sub-Inspector’s and Sgct’s respectively.
This is the (sixth) 6th DPC under the Chairmanship of Zonal IGP, Jammu, wherein 2658 officials in different ranks have already been promoted.
The following officers namely (1) SO to IGP JZ, Jammu Sh. Rajesh Sharma, SSP KPS (2) SSP PCR, Jammu, Sh. Joginder Singh, KPS (3) Chief Prosecuting Officer, ZPHQ Jammu Sh. Sanjay Kohli and (4) Inspr. (Personnel) ZPHQ, Jammu S. Deshbir Singh were its members on the board constituted under the Chairmanship of Worthy IGP Jammu Zone.
Sh. S.D Singh, IPS, IGP Jammu Zone, Jammu in his message to the promoted officials and to their families while congratulating them have expressed hope that the promotion shall act as a morale booster enabling the officials to feel proud and to equip themselves professionally thereby bringing laurels to the police department.
