Dogri Bhasha Academy, Jammu in collaboration with Rashtriya Kavi Sangam and Soch Sadhna (Dogri Research Magazine) organized one day National Seminar on the Topic " Dogri Language and its Future" here at Govt High School Lehar, Akhnoor on 10-12-2017. In this National Level seminar no of Scholars presented their research papers on various aspects of Dogri literature.
In this seminar Prof. Shiv Nirmohi was Honoured with the DUGGAR SANSKRITI SAMMAN 2017 for his remarkable contribution in the field of culture, Dr. Balram Saini was Honoured with the HINDI SAHITYA SRIJAN SAMMAN 2017 for his remarkable contribution to the field of Hindi literature and Raj Rahi is Honoured with the DOGRI SAHITYA SRIJAN SAMMAN 2017for his remarkable contribution to the Dogri literature.
The function was Presided over by eminent Dogri and Hindi Writer, Scholar, Historian and cultural activist Prof. Shiv Nirmohi, Eminent Hindi Writer, and Punjab Kesari Jammu Kashmir Beuro Chief Dr. Balram Saini (Haryana) was the chief Guest, Eminent Dogri Short Story writer, Poet and playwright Sh. Raj Rahi (eminent Dogri writer) was the special Guest on the occasion. While Sh. Yash Paul Nirmal ( Chief Patron and Organizer, Dogri bhasha Academy and Editorial Advisor, Soch Sadhna- Dogri Research Magazine), Sh. Kewal Kumar Kewal (President, Rashtriya Kavi Sangam Jammu Kashmir), Roshan Bral Roshan (President, Dogri Bhasha Academy) also shared the presidium.
While speaking on the occasion eminent writer, educationist and culture activist Prof. Shiv Nirmohi appreciated the efforts of all the organizers and urged that such programs are the need of hour to flourish the Dogri language literature and culture. He appreciated and praise the efforts of Yashpaul Nirmal for encouraging youth for the promotion of Dogri Language, Literature and Culture. Chief Guest Dr. Balram Saini in his address said that Youths can play an important role in the development of Dogri Language and culture. So youths must take this responsibility on their shoulders to work for the mother tongue in a missionary way. He appreciated the efforts of Dogri Bhasha Academy, Rashtriya Kavi Sangam and Soch Sadhna for organizing such an activities in the Akhnoor area.
Special guest Raj Rahi in his address said that youths are familiar with the new technology and information technology, such technology is must be used for the development of the Dogri language and literature. Yashpaul Nirmal in his address said that this program is for the promotion of Research and criticism in Dogri language and literature. He said that Soch Sadhna is the Only Research magazine in Dogri language which bears ISSN number. He further said that Dogri Bhasha Academy and Soch Sadhna is always ready for the promotion of research, criticism and working for the aim to Develop research and criticism attitude in the young writers. Earlier Sh. Roshan Bral Roshan and Kewal Kumar Kewal welcomed the guests, paper readers, media persons and the audience. Sh. Kewal Kumar Kewal Said that Rashtriya Kavi Sangam is a national organization which is especially working for the promotion of Rashtar Bhasha Hindi and along with that also working for the promotion of regional and small languages. We provide platform to the senior writers of different languages and especially the youths. Sh. Roshan Bral Roshan said that Dogri Bhasha Academy is working for the promotion of Dogri language, literature and culture. We request to all the Dogras who respects their mother land, mother tongue and Dogra culture Plz come forward and join Dogri Bhasha Academy. Be Unite for the bigger cause. This is the need of hour.
