Today on 19th February 2018 an Emergency meeting of National Panthers party was held under the chairmanship of Prof Bhim Singh Patron of the party at its Party HQ Jammu and a great exception has been taken in the meeting regarding the salary to the SPO’s J&K. It is strange to say that presently SPO’s are getting salary @ Rs. 6000/- which was enhanced from Rs. 3000/- to 6000/- by the Central Government and later on the Ministry of Home affairs has enhancement the same from Rs. 6000/- to Rs. 12,000/- last years and the effete from the enhancement of the salary to be given with effect from January 2018.
But it is strange to say that for the last three months the salary of Rs. 6000/- has not been released in favour of the SPO’s and they are suffering very badly along with their families due to non - payment of salary.
The State General Secretasry of the Party Sewa Singh Bali has appealed to the Honb’ble Home Minister of India for release of the funds at the earliest being the SPO’s are suffering very badly on this account as the State Government has totally failed in this regard to fulfill the aspiration of the SPO’s .
In case no action is taken then the Panther Trade union are constrained to demonstrate/ protest in the street for the same along with the families of the SPO’s being are suffering badly in absence of their salaries for the so many months.
