Tributes paid to Baba Sahib Dr.B.R.Ambedkar on his 127th Birth Anniversary

Rich tributes were paid to Baba Sahib Dr.B.R.Ambedkar on his 127th birth anniversary by All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC's Organisations.In this context,  a function was organised at Ambedkar Park, Resham Ghar,Jammu in which the portrait of Baba Sahib Ambedkar was garlanded profusely and tributes were paid to him and a bike rally was organised which commenced from Ambedkar Park, Resham Ghar Colony,Jammu and culminated at Ambedkar Chowk, Gandhi Nagar and participated in Jammu Mela there. A large number of people specially youth participated in the function.
State President of the Confederation R.K.Kalsotra flagged off the bike rally which passing through Sperspeciality, Ravidass Chowk, Vikram Chowk, Shastri Nagar, Gandhi Nagar and Via Maharishi Valmiki Chowk reached at Ambedkar Chowk Gandhi Nagar. Kalsotra while paying rich tributes to Baba Sahib said that Dr.Ambedkar dreamt of Casteless society while drafting Constitution of India,granted equal rights to all the sections of the society irrespective of the caste, creed, colour and religion.The great leaders of the nation who were part of Drafting Committee of the Constitution supported Baba Sahib who assured egalitarian and casteless society and envisioned Modern India in which he ensured participation of all those who had been neglected over the years.Kalsotra further added that this day should be celebrated by all irrespective of caste/religion and cutting across party lines to pay true tributes to the Father of the Constitution.He further added that if the Constitution had not been drafted by Baba Sahib,the equal rights would not have been granted to all the sections of the society.He cautioned the people to remain vigilant against few orthodox narrow minded elements of the society who are trying to change the basic structure of the constitution and urged upon the people to be united to fight for their constitutional rights.Other those spoke at Ambedkar Park Resham Ghar Colony were Ramesh Kaith, Mohan Lal Gupta, Vijay Sethi, Dev Raj Bhagat, Dya Rally., Krishan Lal, Gursimran, Parshotam, Tej Ram Dogra, Mohd Ashraf and many other.
